Abstract

The article gives an overview of the taxonomic structure of the genus Ranunculus L. for geographically vast regions of Siberia, Kazakhstan and Mongolia, which includes 2 subgenera, 7 sections and 90 species distributed in accordance with the accepted taxonomic changes based on the published data of molecular-phylogenetic researches (31 species), as well as own results of the study of the genus: features of morphology, ecology and geographical distribution of separate species and closely related groups.
